What is Daily 4 and Daily 3 California Lotto?
The SuperLotto Plus California lottery has a main event twice per week, which is called the SuperLotto Plus draw. It also has two different types of daily draws called Daily 4 and Daily 3 that have smaller prizes but better odds of winning. The Daily 4 is drawn once per day and the Daily 3 is drawn twice per day.
The daily draws have 3 types of playstyles:
- Straight – you win when the numbers on your ticket match in the same order exactly as the numbers drawn
- Box – you win when the numbers on your ticket match in ANY order as the numbers drawn
- Straight / Box – combination of Straight and Box where you can win half of the Straight and / or Box prize
The odds of winning the 1st prize in Straight playstyle in Daily 3 are 1 in 1,000 with a prize of around $500
The odds of winning the 1st prize in Straight playstyle in Daily 3 are 1 in 1 in 10,000 with a prize of around $3,000
